Provisional Crowns for Immediate Placement Implants

Course Code 008/ 3 hours CE

*Please note that this is a 3 hour course designed for dental assistants and/or hygienists who do provisional crowns in the office of their dentist. Individuals of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.

In this course, each participant will have the opportunity to fabricate provisional crowns for implants on a model provided during the course. This program is limited to ensure that each participant will receive the appropriate one on one instruction needed to familiarize themselves with materials and methods of fabricating provisional crowns for immediate placement implants.

Participant will learn:

  • The importance of provisional crowns for immediate placement on implants
  • Various methods of providing provisional crowns
  • A review of materials used for provisional crowns

Kimberlee Koeneman, R.D.A.

Kimberlee Koeneman, R.D.A., has been employed by Dr. Gene Jines as his chairside assistant for the last six years and has been a Registered Dental Assistant for eleven years. Kimberlee has extensive training and hands on experience with every aspect of dental assisting, dental products and dental clinic operation. She is also assists in placing and restoring dental implants under a separate employer, a Little Rock Oral and Maxillofacial surgeonís office.

Mary K. Nosal, R.D.A.

Mary K. Nosal, R.D.A., is currently employed by Dentist International Lab as a chairside lab technician. As a registered Dental Assistant for over twenty years, Mary has attained vast knowledge and experience in all aspects of the dental office. Mary served as an instructor for the Central Arkansas Dental Assisting School and has also had extensive training pertinent to crowns, dentures and implant products and procedures. Dentists International Lab frequently calls upon Mary to assist in challenging custom stain cases or implants.

Loni Crainshaw, C.O.M.S.A., C.D.A., R.D.A.

Loni Crainshaw, C.O.M.S.A., C.D.A., R.D.A., has over 25 years of experience in dentistry. She received her bachelorís degree from John Brown University and went on to five years of service with the US Navy as a dental technician. Loni has been employed by Dentists International Lab for over a year.
